Synapse Media Admin Console - Manage Wowza Media Servers

Synapse Media Admin Console (SMAC) is a web-based system that allows organizations and Internet Service Providers to manage on-line video and associated advertising media. Media Console allows the management of one or more Wowza Media Servers through a complete GUI interface.

 

What is Wowza Media Server?
This cutting edge multimedia server system is developed by Wowza Media Systems that offers Flash and H.263 media streaming solutions. The Synapse Media Admin Console Solution (SMAC)
The Wowza Media Server provides tremendous capabilites, but with management capabilities largely restricted to API call. Thus for non-programmers, configuration and management of Wowza solutions can be daunting. Media COnsole solves this by providing a complete web-based management system.

Managing media is a simple process through point and click tools that eliminate cumbersome encoders and require little or no technical knowledge.

From publishing and recording a single live stream for one event to running a full-time broadband online station the, Synapse Media Admin Console is fast to setup and easy to monetize.

The system provides real-time summary reports for:

Uploading Video

Videos can be uploaded to this section in any format and will automatically be converted to Flash using the Synapse Media Converter Module. Videos are uploaded by selecting the customer from the drop down, entering a title and description.

When a video has been successfully converted the Active status will change from No to Yes and the video can then be assigned to a category and approved for public viewing.

Synapse Media Admin Console Editions

Standard Edition
This edition is designed for organizations that need to manage their internally produced content for streaming to customers, web browsers and others.

Synapse Media Admin Console ISP Edition
This version has all of the features and functions found in the Standard Edition but includes tools to manage multiple Wowza Media Servers and complete provisioning, management and billing of streaming media customers.Custom integration and enhancements are available for the ISP version at on project-by-project basis.
